Infinite Talent currently have an opportunity working with a leading IT Services Business within the Educational Sector.
We are looking for an IT Support officer, who will be required to attend schools within the Sandwell & Birmingham area and assist with 1st and some 2nd Line IT Support
Requirements:
Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support for educational applications, cloud technologies, and network infrastructure, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and proactive maintenance.
System Management: Manage the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of network infrastructure and a range of applications, ensuring systems are updated and functioning optimally. Maintain all technical documentation relating to a customer site.
Service Support: Act as a point of reference for service desk colleagues, maintaining open communication with clients throughout the incident resolution process.
Skills & Experience Required:
Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and management, including Entra ID and Intune.
An understanding of Microsoft server technologies such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, iSCSi, WDS, MDT, Print Management.
Minimum 2 years’ experience of installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows based operating systems. Experience of networking computers. Working experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Setup and deployment of Active Directory Networks. Experience of Microsoft 365, Azure and other cloud technologies.
